We recommend skis at least 90mm wide at the center below your foot. If it’s deep powder, we recommend skis 100mm wide. If possible with touring bindings and skins. We recommend the wearing of a helmet. If you want to use your own backpack just bring it along.
Minimum requirement on your skills would be a solid technique on black slopes and some experience in powder/backcountry. For rookies without any experience in powder we offer : “Podwer Clinics“
Maximum 6 guests per guide – avalanche airbag, beacon, shovel and probe included. All day guiding min. 5 hours; typical day: 8:45 – 15:30 ;
Kitzbühel, Fieberbrunn, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Wildkogel and Kaprun. We recommend the Kitzbuehler Alpen Superskicard. It is valid in Kitzbühel, Fieberbrunn and all resorts of Salzburg.
SKI RESORT & MEETING POINT
In the morning we check weather report and avalanche bulletin. So we get a good idea where the conditions are best and safest. Then we decide which resort we will ski at. We normally meet directly at the ski resort before 9:00 MET. We recommend the Kitzbuehler Alpen Superskicard, it is valid in Kitzbuehel, Fieberbrunn as well as in all resorts of Salzburg county .
