Touring equipment, bottle of water and some energy snacks! We recommend the wearing of a helmet on the descent. If you want to use your own backpack just bring it along.
Minimum requirement on your skills would be a solid technique on black slopes and some experience in powder/backcountry. Particular experience in ski touring is not necessary.
Maximum 6 guests per guide – avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and little backpack included. All day guiding min. 5 hours; typical day: 8:45 – 15:30.
SKI RESORT & MEETING POINT
In the morning we check weather report and avalanche bulletin. So we get a good idea where the conditions are best and safest. Then we decide which resort we will ski at. Close to Zell am See we have 7 resorts situated close enough to reach them within 10-30 min by car. The chance on powder gets significantly bigger thanks to the variety of options, often we ski in Saalbach or Kaprun. We normally meet directly at the ski resort before 9:00 MET. We recommend the SalzburgSuperSkicard, it is valid in all resorts of Salzburg county as well as in Kitzbühel.
