Powder Clinics

Powder Clinics is the perfect introduction for those who have no or little experience in the off piste terrain. Skiing powder is not more difficult than skiing on groomed pistes, but it requires a different technique. With some hints from our side and a bit of patience you will soon feel at home in the backcountry.

What do you need ?

We recommend skis at least 90mm wide at the center below your foot. If it’s deep powder, we recommend skis 100mm wide. We ski with helmet. Click HERE to rent powder skis.

Level

You do not need experience in off-piste skiing for this offer. You should be able to ski black slopes parallel in a controlled manner.

Services

Maximum 6 guests per guide – airbag, avalanche beacon, shovel, probe and little backpack included. All day tuition, min. 5 hours; typical day: 8:45 – 15:30 ;

Kitzbühel, Fieberbrunn and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. We recommend the Kitzalps Superskicard. It is valid in Kitzbühel, Fieberbrunn and all ski resorts of Salzburg.

SKI RESORT & MEETING POINT

In the morning we check weather report and avalanche bulletin. So we get a good idea where the conditions are best and safest. Then we decide which resort we will ski at. We normally meet directly at the ski resort before 9:00 MET. We recommend the  Kitzalps Superskicard.
